| Since Katie was a little girl she loved fashion but growing up in a sweet little town in the middle of Wisconsin was a bit limiting for her style eye. With the nearest mall more than fifty miles away, Katie taught herself how to sew to keep up with the latest fashions. Years later, Katie moved to San Francisco to pursue her love for fashion, professionally. Katie worked at Macy's as an assistant buyer, GAP as a merchandise planner and Mervyn's as a national media style spokesperson. In 2001, Katie left the corporate side of fashion to pursue fashion entertainment.
Style and Shopping Guide, Katie Rice Jones, creates and hosts all of our San Francisco Shopping Tours. Katie is currently the Co-Host of Comcast's "Inside City Limits" arts and entertainment show and also appears frequently as a TV Stylist for channels such as TV Guide Channel, HGTV, FOX, Lifetime and USA Network.
