A product of the open spaces of the Midwest, Ryan
developed imaginary worlds out of necessity. His first
movie, at the tender age of 7, was a radical
re-imagining of the cartoon, "Thunder Cats";
Highlights being the use of a rope swing in a chase
sequence and the climatic final battle vs. the dreaded
house plants. During those early years Ryan went on to
direct several short movies including an adaptation of
Top Gun winning critical acclaim from his parents and
extended family.
Now Ryan lives in Chicago, having just graduated from
Columbia College, he still looks to make movies. He
has worked on several film projects, including the
recently finished and soon to debut "Okinawa Project".
On the horizon Ryan will be directing the photography
on his first feature film, assisting on MTV's, "Making
the Band", and of course, helping to provide new
content for the Ten Toe TV website.
