One of the things I love best about my job as a television host and reporter is that I’m able to experience places and things that I ordinarily wouldn’t--and I’m able to share it with an audience and take them along with me! Through my personal and professional travels, I’ve learned that the best way to experience a city is to really get into its neighborhoods and see how the locals live it up, which is what Ten Toe TV is all about.
I was born and raised in a city of great neighborhoods— Chicago. Chicagoans know great food, shopping and nightlife! But when it came time to set off on my broadcasting career, I headed to Bradley University in the much smaller town of Peoria, Illinois. While earning my B.S. in Journalism, I worked on-air as a news reporter for Peoria's NBC affiliate WEEK.
Following graduation, I returned home to Chicago, where I took a break from news and indulged my inner style maven, touring the Midwest as a National Makeup Artist and spokesperson for Bobbi Brown Essentials Cosmetics. Being immersed in the world of fashion and beauty helped me develop a love for great style and design, but I still felt the pull to get back on-air.
Los Angeles soon beckoned, and my broadcasting skills combined with my bright personality and inquisitive nature have kept me busy as a host and reporter ever since. In addition to being part of the Ten Toe TV team, I also currently appear nationally in Japan every week as the American correspondent of the long-running entertainment news and lifestyle series "Cinematic Report". When I’m not working, I love exploring LA’s neighborhoods—I am forever in search of the perfect casual dining experience and the best place to get a great pair of jeans! I also devour all things pop culture and I’m a fitness enthusiast who's into hiking LA's canyons and running on the beach. I love gourmet cooking and baking and giving away the results before I can eat them all. I make up for abandoning family and normalcy in Chicago by living at the beach in Santa Monica, California
